John A. Pessoa is an Associate Attorney at LSN Law, where he advises clients on state and local government law, particularly in Florida, Miami-Dade County, and its 30+ municipalities. He provides guidance on legal matters related to government procurements, government contracts, legislation, regulation, and land use and zoning.
John also holds the position of Associate at LSN Partners, a government affairs consulting firm that advises clients on their dealings with governments at all levels.
Before attending law school, John worked with LSN Partners for nearly four years. He conducted legislative and regulatory research; monitored and analyzed local, state, and national legislation; helped execute a variety of advocacy campaigns; and worked with clients throughout the government procurement process.
A Miami native, John graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2023. He received his Bachelor of Arts in government from Dartmouth College in 2016.
