Michael Llorente brings a unique blend of corporate litigation, procurement, and public policy experience to LSN Law, P.A. (formerly L&H). He assists clients with government affairs, permitting, legislation, procurement, strategic planning, and land development.  Michael is also a partner at LSN Partners, LLC, a Miami based full service strategic business development and consulting firm (www.lsnpartners.com).

Prior to joining LSN Law, P.A., Michael Llorente served as chief-of-staff to City of Miami Commissioner Francis Suarez.  During his tenure, Michael actively participated in key policy initiatives, including affordable housing legislation, and public-private partnerships with numerous public entities, including the City of Miami, Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority (MSEA), Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency, and Omni Community Redevelopment Agency.  He also served as the principal advisor to the City of Miami’s representative on the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), the regional transportation policy-making board.

Before moving into the public sector, Michael practiced law at one of Florida’s oldest and most prestigious law firms, focusing on complex commercial litigation and regulatory compliance. He played a key role in successfully prosecuting and defending multi-million dollar litigation and coordinating highly sensitive internal investigations for corporate clients.

Michael received his bachelor’s degree in English from Georgetown University, where he graduated Cum Laude and completed the Honors Thesis Program for Literature. In 2007, he received his Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude and served as a student attorney in the Children and Family Justice Center.
